Fairy - GLOG creature-as-class

Class: Fairy

An incoming player at my home game said she wanted to play as a fairy. I've recently fallen in love with the GLOG, and while I've tweaked my fair share of magic-user classes, this was my opportunity to write some actual templates. My inspirations are mainly from the modern depictions of fairies, and those throughout folklore and whatnot. For the game role-wise, the Fairy class I came up with is something of a very squishy archer and magic-user. I wouldn't advise any prospective Fairy player to be in front-line melee! _ _

You are a Fairy, a tiny humanoid with bug wings. You constantly shed a sparkling pixie dust from your body. You usually travel by flying and buzzing about.

Starting HP: 1d4+4

HP Per Level/Resting: 1d4

Weapons and Armor: Only fairy-sized equipment

Perk - Inborn Arcana: All fairies can innately detect magic and learn spells as magic-users do. You have advantage on saves against spells. Drawback - Iron Aversion: While touching iron or similar forged metals, you cannot cast cantrips or spells.

Cantrips:

A: Elfshot, Nature's Friend

B: Fairy Size, Princess' Kiss

C: Fae Luck, Bug Swarm

D: Animal Friend, Princess' Kiss II

E: Elfshot II, Fae Luck II

Elfshot: You have a tiny bow that fires enchanted thorns. This ranged attack grants you +LVL to hit and deals 1d6+LVL damage. If the bow is ever stolen, broken, or lost, you can make a new one from hard wood, spider silk, and a thorny flower under the light of the moon.

Nature's Friend: You can easily talk to all kinds of plants and animals. Particularly brutal or evil creatures may refuse to speak to you. You can convince small and innocent creatures like mice and bugs to lend you a hand in times of need. These animals will often ask for a favor in return.

Fairy Size: You can grow to the size of a human, but lose your ability to fly. Additionally, you can shrink anything human-sized to fairy size, and vice versa.

Princess' Kiss: Kissing a living creature on the forehead heals them 1d4+LVL HP. You can bestow as many kisses per day equal to your level.

Fae Luck: Re-roll any die that you just rolled, and keep the new result. Or, you may add or subtract your LVL bonus to any die. You may do this as many times per day equal to Fairy templates you have.

Bug Swarm: With a shrill scream, you can call a swarm of angry stinging insects to your aid. The swarm will distract and attack LVL nearby enemies, dealing 1d4+LVL damage each turn. If you wish, you can summon a swarm of beautiful and harmless insects like butterflies and moths to mesmerize and enchant the same amount of targets.

Animal Friend: You can befriend any animal to have them assist you on an adventure (though the process of befriending a creature will certainly involve at least one favor or quest relative to their ability and power level). You may only have one devoted animal friend at one time, and must dismiss the current friend to accept a new one.

Princess' Kiss II: Kissing a living creature on the forehead heals them 1d6+LVL HP (as cure serious wounds) and also relieves any status ailment such as enchantment, petrification, fear, ect.

Elfshot II: Your elfshot deals 1d8+LVL damage and "explodes" on a result of 8.

Fae Luck II: Re-roll any die that you or an ally just rolled, and keep the new result. Or, you may add or subtract your LVL bonus to any die your allies roll. You may do this as many times per day equal to Fairy templates you have.
